Flow & Flourish

Embrace the Slow Season and ease out of hibernation through somatic and spiritual practices of breath, movement, and visualisation with Becki, a mindful mentor, somatic guide, and wellness advocate.

How is your body feeling after the busyness of December and the darkness of January?

Are you feeling an achy heaviness or sluggishness in your body?

Is there an edginess to life, a clunkiness to your routine?

Perhaps you’re feeling a tussle with yourself; a desire to sink deeper into the duvet and an urge to push through and be swept up in the chaos…

… A yearning to find a sense of balance between doing and being.

Life is so full-on it’s easy to lose touch with switching off. It’s time to take the guilt out of rest and make space to slow down. You’re invited to experience a wholesome afternoon of nourishing rest for body mind and soul.

Here’s what we’ll explore through our retreat…

Space to Pause ~ Breathwork & Mindfulness

Gentle, conscious, and connected breath sequences for brain and heart coherence, and nervous system regulation. Our breath session will focus on self-awareness, compassion, and connection to invite whole-body wellbeing. Becki will share practical ways to weave mindfulness into your daily routine.

Recharge ~ Somatic & Body-Mindful Movement

You will explore a body-mindful and somatic yoga flow to release emotional and physical tension, regulate, stretch, and strengthen your body, inviting softness into the tired parts of yourself. All movements, breathwork, and somatic practices are rooted in an awareness of mental and emotional health and blended with mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques. (Newbies, beginners, and regular yogis welcome)

A Place to Rest ~ Yoga Nidra (aka, your spiritual power nap!)

Designed to ground you into a state of deep rest and awareness, this session will blend the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra and aspirational visualisation to leave you feeling nourished and rested.

Only 15 spaces are available!

Are you constantly exhausted, with no energy left by the end of the week?

Are you struggling to make time for yourself?

Would you like to be more mindful in your life and feel more aware of your body?

Do you need realistic ways to reduce anxiety, ease stress, and regulate your nervous system?

The secret to feeling good is truly feeling good, in body and mind. This is where somatic practices like breath-work, mindfulness, and movement can help you feel grounded and connected, and invite a sense of space into your body.

Body-mindful movement. This is the style of movement Becki shares in her classes and retreats. It is a blend of somatic and restorative yoga and vinyasa flow. By moving through slow mindful movements you become more aware of how you feel as you move. Helping reconnect to your body, regulate your nervous system, and improve your sleep, emotional resilience, strength, confidence, and flexibility. (Newbies, beginners, and regular yogis welcome)

somatic / səˈmatɪk (adjective): relating to the body, especially as distinct from the mind.

Somatic yoga is designed to help you become more embodied, or reconnected to your body. Being aware of one’s body as you move through space, within poses and sequences, often connected to your breath, and learning to listen to the feedback from the body as you move.

Mindfulness is the ultimate act of self-love and when you become more aware of your emotions and reactions you’ll be able to look ahead putting things in place to support yourself better when a work project takes up all of your time or you need to drop everything to support a friend or loved one.

Bringing yourself back to a grounded headspace where you can think straight and not feel overwhelmed is the ultimate goal. Having an awareness of what your body is feeling will help you understand what you need when you need it. Learning tools and techniques to support will help you feel calmer and more connected to your body and the present moment.

Within this supportive space, you’ll learn how to incorporate breathwork, mindfulness, and rest into your routine and create healthy habits that work for modern life. This retreat is a call to slow down, turn inward, reconnect, and rest.
